I spotted this near my in-laws place during a recent snow storm:

Kinja'd!!!

So does this make it the Snowpocalypse edition? Or the eco-snow edition?

That was on Sunday afternoon. Monday, I decided working from home was the wise decision:

Kinja'd!!!

All that snow landed in ~48 hours.

In other unrelated news, I’m trying to figure out if I need to replace the Sienna’s steering rack, or if I can get away with replacing just the bellows on the passenger side. I haven’t noticed any appreciable steering fluid loss, but the current bellows is torn to shreds. My options are:

1. Take it in for an inspection to figure out how bad things really are (probably what I’ll end up doing). Then end up doing #2 or #3.
2 Replace the bellows, which will likely require disconnecting the tie rod end, and an alignment after ward. (So $150-$200 total)
3. Replace the entire steering rack. ($1100 total).

I still haven’t had another look to see if I can find the various oil leaks.  It looks like replacing the oil pan requires dropping the exhaust, which is a pain.

I quite like snow when it snows that much. The tiny amount that usually comes down in most places is just annoying. But this amount becomes everything shuts down and it's fun. Assuming you don't have something important to do lol

Where is this? I thought it only snowed in eastern Montana and  Alberta.

You know where it didn’t snow? Houston.

Mid-90s and muggy.  Local reliable meteorologist says our first cold front is Monday.

Oh man, I know that parking lot thanks to my resident hockey player. They got lowland snow this early? In Renton?  That’s got to be from last year right?

Good eye, Renton it is. Back in February when we had a nice dump on the ground for a few weeks (“today” should be “that day”) . We got into the upper 30s at night a couple days ago, nothing beyond that yet.

It was 99 here on Wednesday with 60% humidity.  Have I mentioned how much I hate DC?

Upper 50s during the day here, scattered showers. I sometimes grouse about the rain, but I’ll take this overall weather over much of the continent.

If you don't see fluid leaking out I would just replace the bellows, that's really just a dust cover, not worth replacing the whole rack for by any means.

This is southern Alberta. Usually we don't get storms this big, or that early in the season.

That was a storm that left 60-80 cm here back in 2015. Most winter storms here in Nova Scotia are nowhere near that bad, but that winter was insane! We’ll see how this one is!

At work on that blessed day o snow, irrigation blowout was supposed to start. Try finding 118 acres of irrigation heads in 40 cm of snow. HA. Good thing I was plowing the campus sidewalks instead. Also worth noting the morning commute marked the beginning of drift season for those of us with less than 200 HP.

You had my hopes up that there was going to be another Lethbridge Oppo member on here. I haven't been on here much lately, but I know Lumpy44 is down here as well.
